Teen Athletic Performance (TAP) Program
The Regional Institute of Sport (RIS) is excited to announce a partnership with Mount Clear College to deliver a Teen Athletic Performance (TAP) program for students who wish to improve their sporting performance.
The RIS has assisted thousands of young athletes on the pathway to the optimization of their athletic talent through programs that develop and enhance speed, mobility, strength, agility, power, and reaction time within a framework of holistic athletic performance development.
Some of these student-athletes have moved through a performance pathway to Clubs and elite programs in the AFL, AFLW, Netball Australia, Basketball Australia, PGA, Cycling Australia to name a few.
The RIS ‘TAP Program’ fills a major void in the foundational preparation of all young athletes who wish to excel in their chosen sport. The TAP program not only develops a wide array of athletic qualiites but significantly reduces the risk of injury.
The RIS is staffed with highly qualified and experienced high-performance staff, physiotherapists and exercise scientists utilizing an approach that uses the best and most up to date knowledge from the world of high performance sport, physiotherapy, strength and conditioning all to assist the unique demands of the adolsecent athlete.
