College Houses
Mount Clear College House System
The names of the Houses represent the four mini-schools that were the foundation of our current-day College.
Mount Clear College has an established sporting program steeped in tradition. We have a competitive house system between – Canadian, Currawong, Barkly and Lalor.
Students are encouraged to participate in numerous events and competitions, including sports, academic and other College community activities. Inter-house sporting events take place throughout the year and include swimming, cross country and athletics carnivals. All students are encouraged and given the opportunity to compete. From these inter-house competitions, students are selected to advance to the inter-school competitions.
Students can also earn points for their House via the Positive Schoolwide Behaviour Scheme by being actively involved in a wide variety of school activities.
