Performing Arts

Mount Clear College is highly regarded and recognised for our outstanding Performing Arts program and facilities.

Outstanding Performing Arts program and facilities

We are very proud of our past Performing Arts students, enthralled by our current Performing Arts students, and excited by the endless possibilities and talents for our future Performing Arts students.

Performing Arts at Mount Clear College includes Music, Singing, Dance and Drama, as well as many combinations of each of these disciplines.

Whilst these subjects run as part of the regular timetable for all students from Year 7 through to VCE and VET, students also are provided numerous opportunities to participate in the Performing Arts outside of their curriculum, including our annual School Production (Musical), the Victorian State School Spectacular, Dance clubs, plus a wide variety of Music ensembles.

Bringing together students across all year levels

Our Performing Arts programs brings together students across all year levels, in an inclusive environment where each student can shine and achieve their individual goals, whilst working together with like-minded students to achieve amazing results. This results in mentoring from our Senior students and aspirations from our Junior students, who strive to achieve the accomplishments of their senior student role models.

Within our Performing Arts department, individual Instrumental Music and singing lessons are available. If you have a child who is interested in exploring the option to learn a musical instrument or pursue their singing passion, we invite you to contact our Music Director or any of our Performing Arts team at the College.
