Mount Clear College is an exciting place to learn, providing incredible programs and facilities for both our students and our staff. The College is nestled into an idyllic bush setting on the edge of the Woowookarung Regional Park, 6 kilometres from the centre of Ballarat.
Main Campus
Our Main Campus is designed to separate the years 7 to 9 and years 10 to 12 learning experiences, with designated study spaces for each.

Performing Arts
The College’s Performing Arts program is highly regarded both within Victoria and also internationally through our Musical Futures Program and outstanding annual College Productions. The facilities to support these programs include individual music practice rooms, two large band rooms, 300 seat ‘state of the art’ Theatre, and a large sprung floor Dance Studio.

Language Centre
Alongside traditional education programs, Mount Clear College offers a vast array of academic and cultural programs through our Language Centre. The College has established itself as the Hub of LOTE and cultural programs throughout the region for Japanese and Chinese, providing language teacher support and immersion programs to Primary Schools and Kindergartens across the district. The Language Centre is also home to Australia’s first Confucius Classroom, established by Mount Clear College in 2009.
Earth Ed – Specialist STEM Centre
Mount Clear College, has one of only six Specialist STEM Centres in Victoria. Our Earth Ed STEM Centre provides specialist programs for primary and secondary students, and professional development activities for teachers across the State. Earth Ed STEM Centre gives students the chance to be immersed in the Earth sciences and emerging technologies.
