Camps information
School camps are central to our teaching method, and help students develop confidence in their ability to look after themselves.
The following information is a guide. Camp locations and activities may change from one year to the next.
Year 7 Camp
Usually held in Term 1e each year. 3 days / 2 nights
Lady Northcote Camp, Rowsley Valley (near Bacchus Marsh)
2021 cost – $365
This camp focuses on team building and getting to know your teachers and classmates. A wide variety of adventure activities are experienced during the camp.
Year 8 Camp
Usually held in Term 4 each year. 3 days / 2 nights
Lake Dewar Lodge (Myrniong, Victoria)
2021 cost – $350
This camp focuses on challenging yourself and developing leadership skills.
Year 9 Ski Trip
Usually held in Term 3 each year. 4 days / 3 nights
Mount Hotham
2021 cost – $1,020
This camp focuses on individual and group challenges in an Alpine setting.
Year 10 Amazing Race
Usually held in the last week of Term 2 each year. 3 days /2 nights
Melbourne CBD
2021 cost – $320
3 days in Melbourne filled with adventure and fun to help students discover their future and realise their potential. Our Amazing Race is a team-based adventure which encourages students to work cooperatively in a team as well as also fostering a sense of independence and self-reliance.
Year 12 R U Future Ready? camp
Usually held in the last week of Term 4 prior to students commencing their Year 12 studies.
Three days and two nights.
Deakin University Warrnambool.
2021 cost – $280
To provide an opportunity for the cohort to come together as a group to work collaboratively and build relationships with each other and staff – enabling a strong, supportive, and positive culture of achievement to be built.
