Acknowledgement of
country

Mount Clear College would like to acknowledge and pay our respects to the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We would also like to extend this respect to their Elders past and present and all First Nations people.

We acknowledge the Traditional lands and waterways on which we gather, play, learn and grow together. We are thankful for the resources, culture and community surrounding us. We are grateful to be protected by the Woowookarung Regional Park, home to many native plants and animals, including Cherry Ballart, echidnas, and kangaroos. Nyatne baa Gobata (Thank You and Take Care)

This Acknowledgment of Country was written by our First Nations students in collaboration with Jenna Oldaker, a Wadawurrung Traditional Owner, whose guidance and cultural knowledge supported its creation."
